    Utrecht
Utrecht borders the IJsselmeer in the north. The capital is Utrecht, known for its university, wharves and canal side terraces. The other main city is Amersfoort.

    Utrecht is situated in the heart of Holland and is one of the oldest Dutch cities. The canals and wharves enjoy worldwide fame because no other city has pedestrian wharves along 14th century sunken canals. Utrecht is also renowned for its museums ranging from Christian art to street organs.
    Sightseeings:
    Dom Tower and Cathedral, this tower is the "landmark" of the city of Utrecht. It is the tallest building and has always stood out above the rest of the city.
